Claire Wiley is a Clinician Investigator here at NCSU. She is currently a small animal internal medicine resident and PhD student in Comparative Biomedical Sciences. In 2009 she graduated with a VMD from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed a small animal rotating internship. In the lab,Claire investigates the molecular profililg of canine canine urothelial carcinoma (UC)/transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) and also provides expertise in our clinical triils effort. Claire has a particualr interest in translating data derived from studies of her canine patients to provide new opportunities to advance care of human patients.
Claire is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys painting, music, and hiking with her two Portuguese water dogs, Jade and Flirt.
